Past trips of MPPC

5MPPC-visited Kota Bahru for the first time, and had a repeat trip of 4MPPC

Original plan of Malay Peninsula Peace Cycle (MPPC) was from the first leg along Thai-Burma Railway in 1994 to the last 4th leg arriving at Singapore in 2000 cycling toward south along Malay Peninsula.  Accomplishing the plan successfully, voices emerged among the participants to continue MPPC, resulting in the extra 5th MPPC in 2003.
In February 2003, flew to Kota Bahru, most northeastern town of Malay Peninsula and visited Sabak seashore where IJA first opened fire in WWII.  Flying back to Kuala Lumpur, ran south toward Singapore, which part was almost repeat route of 4MPPC.   Though skipped KL, revisited and met old friends in Seremban, Malacca, Senggarang and Johor Bahru, and visited Kota Tinggi for the first time.  In Singapore, took part in the War Memorial Service of February 15 for the first time.
